    Did you try removing mods/cc? Don't forget to delete the localthumbcache file after removing mods ?

I've never used Better Build / Buy so I can safely say that's not the cause. 

I tried the new windows user, and after awhile it just stopped working just the same when I swapped to a different house hold.

@DoomHobbit So I tested your save and I can't replicate on this either. I traveled around, switched households (after placing one), saved and reloaded and nothing seems to trigger the issue,

I did get a cc removed message the first time I loaded up the game though.

    Is it alright if I send you another save file to try? This one was modded, mostly with CAS mods ( clothes, hair, etc ) where I have the most problems even after removing the mods. 

    The save file I sent shouldn't have had any CC so I'm not sure why that came up. I even did a full uninstall/reinstall of the game and find that with this particular save I have the most issues.

        Sorry this took a moment, but I did an uninstall / reinstall and reinstalled it to a different drive and now seems to work fine. So in the end, I'm still baffled.
