upgrade bug

OK I searched this and nothing came up. I have upgraded everything in my sims home, yet when it comes to electronics, my sims cancels out any queque'd upgrades for better components, firaxium wiring and super reception. She has Out of this World PC, Media Marathoner All-On-The-Wall TV/stereo, and the Slick Beats by DJ Sudoku. I cannot upgrade any of these items, have tried deleting and buying new and same thing happens. All other upgrades worked 100% on both electronics and all others, ie kitchen, bathroom, etc... Please help?

Oh and my sim is a level 10 handiness just for the record 😉
