Vow renewal bug

Hey!

So as my sims go to plan the event for the cow renewal I can’t choose anyone to join the event. Won’t show anyone for flower girl, guests, entertainer etc. 

tried to do the event anyway an they both got to the end of the isle an then glitched an wouldn’t do anything so had to restart the game.

same issue occurs again.

any help?
