wants not showing

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cottage Living, Discover University, Season, Cats & Dogs, Get to Work, Realm of Magic, Parenthood, Outdoor Retreat, Paranormal, Nifty Knitting, My first pet, laundry day, perfect patio.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start/load any game
What happens when the bug occurs? The wants bubbles are not appearing at all since the update/replacement from the Whims. The Whims showed no problem but since the update introducing the wants/fears feature, nothing shows above my sims head in the lower left corner.
What do you expect to see? I would love the wants/fears feature to work properly.

Please describe the patch or change you made. The patch that updated/replaced the Whims feature with the wants/fears feature.
Before the patch that introduced the Wants/Fears feature my Sims' whims appeared with no problem. After that patch none of the Wants/Fear bubbles are appearing at all where they should be.
