I just realized that's why it's working for me. When I ran my test before, I had all my mods in. I just tried a brand new test save, without any mods, and the Wedding Venue does not show up. Somehow, LittleMsSam's More Buyable Venues fixes whatever bug this is.
@crinrict this is a real bug, as reported by the Sims Community.
I have never had that mod and without any mods in I see the Wedding venue just fine so your assertion that having that mod in is the reason you can see it does not hold true. Did you remember to delete localthumbcache.package when you tested without any mods or CC in a new game.
- DellaLuna484 years agoSeasoned Vanguard@jpkarlsen Yup. I always delete the localthumbcache.package file (along with all cache files, like clientdb.package and avatarcache.package) before I load up my game. Habit from Sims 3 days, to just delete cache files every time.
The venue wasn't listed at all, as if it didn't exist in my save. Not under generic or park or anything. Not sure why. I just know that when I put LittleMsSam's More Buyable Venues back in, poof, it showed up on the list of venues after starting "Plan Wedding Event". 🤷🏻♀️- jpkarlsen4 years agoHero (Retired)
OK you are talking about a different issue than creating a Wedding Venue. Please read Crinricts answer to you. Before answering in a thread please make sure that what you talk about is the same as is asked. Feel free to add to the bug thread that Crinrict linked to that you found a mod that may help those that are willing to use a mod. Remember not to provide a link but it is okay to name the mod.
