One of my gems is adult can carry child by softmc9 always wanted an interaction like that and I have been using it for years. Currently needs updating for the infant patch (would not allow me to pick up infant) though so I'm not using it until it's updated but I'm keeping an eye out.
There is a simmer on patreon called thegoldsim. All of her mods are geared towards kids and toddlers and a must have for my game! Like better parties and a lot of interactive stuff for them.

If you have never heard of Waronkcc you totally need to check out her patreon amusement park stuff (she is updating them for the latest patch according to her twitter. They work but show up wonky in the new pie menu) someone even made a water park lot using her cc. Thank goodness because I was struggling to put it all together nicely lol.
And one more that deserves a mention is cepzid. lOVE her mods. She has kids can play pretend in chair (childish sims too) funcional binoculars, functional gym set, the skateboard ? thing that I don't know the name of lol, kids can do more stuff like cook or yoga or do magic.
