A couple I've kept through a Mods folder refresh when I had to start a new save (RIP my old save, 2015-2023!!):

Awwooo's Fruitcake Like/Dislike Mini Overhaul, which makes many fewer Sims have an actual opinion about fruitcake without actually depriving you of fruitcake opinions entirely.

ChippedSims's Functional Radiators. These are just lovely for older houses. The only thing that could make them better would be to be able to lay clothes on them to dry! (I know, we weren't supposed to do that, but we did.)
