when invited to a before prom get together sims get stuck

When my sims got invited to a before prom get together I chose travel with friends and invited some people when they arrived no one could move and no interaction was working like social interactions and go here and travel ones I fixed it by swapping to another member to the household and brang the two teen sims back but im wondering if its a game issue or a mod issue considering i do play with cc and mods but i 50/50 my mods yesterday and deleted all the problematic mods
