    Thank you for your help.

    I've been able to solve the issue - it was the one mod I'd missed in my updates! (It's a couple of the Aspiration mods from KiaraSims4Mods, which was fascinating: it doesn't actually directly impact the Reward Store in-game.)

Rightclick the game in Origin and select Repair.
