@bunnilia Just to confirm, have you done a vanilla test? Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
If that still leaves you with while llamas, have you tried a Game Repair? And are you PC or Mac?

The first thing I did when I noticed the white llamas was to repair the game. I use an HP laptop with an external hard drive to play the sims 4.
When I removed my mods folder and deleted the localthumbcache, the llamas disappeared. I individually removed every one of my mods that affected gameplay because that was where I assumed the issue was. However, once I did that, the llamas were still appearing. I'm pretty organized when it comes to sorting out my mods and separating them. I tested it out in a brand new save too, and it didn't seem to have any issues with the llamas. Would this be a result of custom content (ie. clothes, hair, furniture, presets, etc) being broken? And I would like to understand how something like that, if that is the case, could affect the game menus.

@bunnilia Okay, so you do have a confirmed mods issue here, then. Try creating a fresh entire game folder (drag The Sims 4 to the desktop), restarting, and then reinstalling mods in batches. For anything other than clothes/hair type stuff older than late February in particular, check for updates, because a lot has been updated since then.

Hello again. I would like to start off by saying thank you so much for your help in this matter. I followed your instructions to the T and started a fresh Sims 4 folder. I continued to research for other players who may have had a similar experience to mine.
Without mods, the game runs fine. So, I slowly started putting mods back in, I checked for the latest version, like you mentioned, that is no later than late February. Everything worked. Then, I started putting my custom content back in, that's when it started to act funny. The thing is, it only happens to that one save. Even if I go back to an earlier version of that save, it still happens. No other save that I have behaves in this way.
May I ask, why would the custom content in this save file create such a problem, but when I load up another one, that issue doesn't occur?
