Why can I not update my game version from anywhere?

I've tried everything, and I'm exhausted. From The Sims 4 folder, my game version is 1.69.59.1020 which is a 2020 UPDATE. I want to update my game but have no clue how to, and after searching ever...

@volteroid This is usually the antivirus program ransomware protection protecting the file from getting updated.

What are you using ?

Just checked on Windows Security and saw that ransomware protection doesn't have controlled access so it's not that

  @volteroid Is that the only software you have installed ? You can just move the file to the desktop and it should be re-created
  
  What's the version it shows in the game ?
