why do no other sims appear on a lot when i take my sims somewhere
I am playing in a household with 20 sims so i thought that could be the cause. I wanted to summon some sims over to a lot but they didnt come. Doremy asked Haiji if they wanted to hang out and when I got there, Doremy wasnt present. I tried having Haiji invite her over, but even tho it said Doremy was coming over, she never did. Plus, the next sim day is the sunday get famous thing that i need Kaoru to attend because the book they published was nominated for an award, but nobody's gonna be there so how will Kaoru get the award.
THIS IS THE MOST EMPTY LIBRARY EVER WHOS GONNA PAY FOR THE BOOKS (i guess if youre bringing a debt collector then they can pay for it themselves?)
I discovered that it was only happening for that household because when i went to another some sims did appear. I went back to my Len'en household (the one with 20 sims), more specifically the ones that were still on vacation, and Tsubakura did appear, but they were part of the same household. I took Kaoru and Tsuba to a library (the one in willow, not the one Hibaru was at, shown above) and with that, a club gathering happened but only Para appeared, and they were part of the same household Kaoru and Tsuba were in (yup, the len'en one). I think it glitched so only the ones from that household appear. I'll still play with them.

I believe 20 is the max number of sims that will spawn on any lot without a mod. When playing your 20 sim household, all of them count toward this limit even if you only send one sim from the household to the lot. This is probably because of the potential for you to bring other household members to the lot. So, you really only have a couple options. 1. Reduce the number of sims in your household. 2. Find a mod that allows for more than 20 sims to spawn. Since you need a mod to have more than 8 sims in a household, I'm guessing option 2 will be more to your liking.
My guess is that you're using MCCC to change the max household size. Is that correct? If so, then you can use the Population module to increase the number of sims in a zone. Just click on a computer in game, then click MCCC > MC Population > Other settings > Maximum Sims In Zone. The max value is 200 sims though I would caution some restraint here since I'm not sure how your system might handle that many sims. Perhaps you could just increase it to 40 at first? Or if you want to have more, maybe you could use the game options to "save as" and test this setting before committing to it as your primary save.
