Why is all my cc gone

So all of my cc and mods are gone from my sims game except mcc. I’m pretty sure this happened because I tried to use the better build and buy mod, but that made some of the words disappear and so I deleted it then re-download it and now all my cc is gone. I’ve tried about everything to fix it like, restarting my computer, disabling and enabling cc, and repairing the sims 4 in origin. I also deleted the better build and buy mod too and that did nothing.
