Why is my sim's ID not Showing?

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? Latest version
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get famous, Island living, Get to work, Cats and Dogs and Vintage Glamour
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? First press Control + ⇧ Shift + C at the same time then type testing cheats true and then type sims.get_sim_id_by_name (first name) (last name).
What happens when the bug occurs? First press Control + ⇧ Shift + C at the same time then type testing cheats true and then type sims.get_sim_id_by_name (first name) (last name). When I complete all of the above no message pops up telling me my Sim's ID. Not even an error message saying that that Sim could not be found.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see a message in the cheat bar telling me my Sim's ID.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
I definitely wrote the cheat out correctly and triple checked it. My Sim's name was spelt correctly, Cheats were enabled, so what is the problem?
- @Cyclone_Sims What is the name of the sim? The only reason I can think of for the cheat not working is if there are multiple sims in the game with the exact same name. The game doesn’t know which sim you want if there are duplicates.
