Won’t try for baby

My sims won’t woohoo or try for baby. I click on the option and nothing at all happens, like I never clicked anything. They sleep in the bed so there’s no access issues. I restarted the game, restarted my computer, I deleted the bed and bought a new one, I bulldozed the entire lot and moved them out then put the lot back and moved them back in…
