Ye Olde Cookbook Not Working

I downloaded the Ye Olde Cookbook, Homestead Helper and the recipes mods as advised in the mod description, but the cookbook is not functional. The only option is to add the cookbook to a sim's inventory.

Am I missing something or is this a known issue?
