I tend to use bienchen83's mods a lot, they provide a lot of bug fixes and quality of life enhancements. They are over at https://www.deichschafblog.de/s4/bienchens-mods-updates/
Also roBurky's Fitness Controls mod stops their weight yoyoing.
Same here. Lot of small mods that were helpful to my usual long-term gameplay to help enhance it (or just fix some bug fixes and annoyances). Much like the one here at Bienchen's mod to keep sims from CONSTANTLY going to the food stalls back and forth in City Living which contributed to their weight a lot.
@Scott1710 Haven't had much of a problem with sims being culled and re-population as I tend to have either up to 200 sims or have it as unlimited. With certain sims I usually end up marking them to be avoided for culling as well as any random pregnancies if I don't want them to have a surprise baby while I'm in another household.
LittleMsSam has some good mods. I like the Auto employees lot trait, so my sim never has to bother hiring someone at venues where NPC's don't spawn for things. (Bartender on lots that aren't a lounge or bar, vendors, etc.), Ask to cool/grill/bake Very good, espeically if your sim visits friends and family and you ask them to cook. Also mods to slow down how fast a sim learns certain skills.
My favorite one if you have dine out 'No Resturaunt Bill when being invited.' as I got tired of sims inviting mine out and having to pay for them.
