Zerbu's Go To School mod Winterfest Gift Giving

It is almost seeming like it's just me as It sounds like everyone is just saying it's been updated and works. But last I saw was the update in November 2018 and one problem still remains even if It's the only mod in my mod folder and that is my sims can't Gift Give during Winterfest.
is this the same for everyone else who has this mod?
