Hey folks, do you play the sims on PS4 or Xbox? Are you longing for the ability to add custom content to your game? Do you have a second to sign a petition?

All we need is 1,400 more signatures. Please take the time to sign. As a console player myself, I find playing the game without cc very frustrating and disappointing. There are currently no plans to add cc functionality to the game, but we might be able to change that.
@backplayingsims, this isn't completely under EA's control, as it is also up to Microsoft and Sony! 😞 I have heard that Microsoft is more open to allowing Mods/CC but that Sony is holding things up, although this just might be a rumor. Either way, this isn't EA's decision alone!!! 🤨 So console players should talk Microsoft and Sony about it! 😉
@PugLove888 is right, just how Madden is not Cross play ,custom content on Playstation and Xbox is not up to EA. It is up to Microsoft and Sony.

- @PugLove888 Microsoft and EA now work very closely, as Game Pass now comes with EA Access built in, so the could probably do it on Xbox if they wanted to
My own experience with the console version wasn't very good I couldn't run all packs with all dlc without it crashing so adding custom content and mods would probably brick the console as much as I would love cc and mods for console I don't think it's going to happen and it's correct what puglove88 said it's Sony and Microsoft's decision.
If you would be smart on the consoles a not get a lot of mods I’ll say the consoles should be able to take them even possible the PS4 it still has some life in it!! An I darn well the PS5 can!!! Unless you bought them all, then it’s ur console if ur on the PS5. I’ve got the PS5 an got like 8 Sim 4 games on it an there’s like hardly any problems there’s a few but I think it’s on their end not mine… Cause lots of people have been having the same problems with what I’m having issues with now!! So I’m taking a guess your on the PS4 or one of the Xbox consoles cause I’ve never played the Sims on the PS4 nor the Xbox I dislike the Xbox so I’ve never played the Xbox but the original….

You'll have to talk to the console developers about that - it's nothing to do with EA or Custom Content Creators.

In order to add "mods" and CC, players would need access to the console's file system, which Sony is dead-set against. It increases the ability to hack and crack consoles.
Maybe if EA added a user content system into the game without giving access to the file system... that might work. Problem is, that would cost EA money to develop that system. EA spending money for no benefit other than to make the players happy? Yeah. Not gonna happen.
This isn’t EA’s fault. This is up to Sony and Microsoft. One, they’d have to add a file downloader into each of their systems, which I don’t think they want to do. Two, who knows how much bugginess this would cause. And three, that would mean we also have to deal with corruption and stuff that PC/Mac players have to deal with.
I think it’s just best we don’t have it..

Is it really that hard to create a cc pack as Farming Simpulator or Cities Skylines has?
There’s a lot more than that now have ya heard anything from Ea Sports or Sony? I’m on the PS5 an only want a few mods I loved the mods on my PC it would be so much better with mods!!
