Re: Island Living missing from PlayStation

  • A while ago, I purchased the 'Island Living' expansion pack while it was on sale, and went to go download it. The problem was, I couldn't find in the manage game content area for the game on my Ps5 or on the EA app even though it says I own the pack and to just download it. I also noticed I had 'City Living' in the owned expansion pack category but it wasn't in my game because there was nowhere to download it from. Again, I had bought both packs while they were on sale and didn't get any of them.

If you bought them in the EA app, they’re  computer versions (Mac or Windows) and cannot be installed on PlayStation. If you want the PlayStation version you should buy from the PlayStation store while PlayStation is having a sale. To play computer versions purchased on a computer, you need to install the Sims base game on your computer and play there.

    Hey abcc252ObPLghg

Since the packs were purchased from the Playstation store, you'll need to find and download the expansion packs there. You should be able to locate the Manage Game Content area after quitting the game then doing the following:

    1. Go to Games > Game Library (Purchased)
    2. Select The Sims 4 and hit Options on your controller
    3. Manage Game Content should appear then
    4. Find the expansion packs you want to install and start the download

If the packs do not appear, please restore your licenses and try again.

Let us know how it goes, thanks!

I did as you instructed and the packs were not there, only the ones I already have installed.

For your selected game, you have to go down into the game overview and hover over playstation store. It should show the game's add-ons and have a section that says 'your add-ons.' When you press it, it'll bring you to the packs that you own -just thought I could help

I had this exact same problem with these packs. I realised it was actually because they were free on ps + for a while. It’s not free anymore, it’s full price. You have to buy it from ps store even if in the game store says you own it.

abcc252ObPLghg  I've had issues with DLC not showing properly on my PS5 and PS4, so I'm sorry you're having trouble with it.  If you've restored the license, then I suggest a full reinstall.  First, I suggest doing a power cycle to clear all the cache files.  Exit any games and use the menus to power down your system.  Wait for the light to stop flashing, then unplug the power source for at least a minute.  Connect the power source again and uninstall the game.  Your saves will not be affected since they are stored seperately from the game files.  After that, go to the Library and install TS4.  At this point, you will get the option to select / deselect the DLC you own.  I'm hoping that you will see Island Living and City Living in this list and they should install properly.  Please come back and let us know if you still encounter a problem with your owned DLC.

When i click download all an error message CE-109367-6 shows, saying "something went wrong". I also purchased these when on sale before the latest update with playstation plus premium. Maybe because I do not have premium I cannot download them? I'm not sure. The fact it is still unavailable months later is so frustrating.

MacAttacks619 Unfortunately if you purchased from PlayStation, you’ll have to apply to PlayStation/Sony for the refund.

Did you try the power cycle & reinstall Jona suggested?

MacAttacks619  Hi!  I'm pretty sure the DLC should be available for you since they appear in Downloads.  You may just need to restore your license.  Go into your library and then go to the Sims 4 game.  Press the three line menu / options button, then select Restore License.  Once that's finished, try downloading the DLC again.

To clarify, anything you purchase is yours to keep, regardless of your Playstation subscription status.  The only thing that can be affected by that are any games / DLC that are included with the subscription.  I'm fairly confident, those would not be available in Downloads without the subscription.  At any rate, I do not see any TS4 packs available with PS+ currently.
