Hi! I’m playing on ps4, I’ve been experiencing this as of 6/14. I’ve checked for updates (says it’s 2.12), console and game. I deleted the game and redownloaded. I also restored the licenses. And still no update 2.13 - so confused 😭

Do we have any news about the console update? Without this the new pack will not work. 

Why hasn't there been at least a mention of when we can expect the update for console players? It's been over 2 weeks since the release for PC players. Seems my game might be experiencing multiple bugs due to the fact I don't have the update and it's rendering it practically unplayable now. Plus it's only a little over a week away from the "Nature's Calling Event" when we will REQUIRE the update at that point to play... WTH

Does anyone know when the update will come through for console??

It has been 2 weeks. It’s time to get it fixed! The lag and stuff is insane!! Why would I want to purchase fairies for a game that isn’t working?

This would be helpful if anyone actually responded to us on these forums but they never do :(

yes i would also like to know when is an expected date to get this update cause it's june 9th now and we still haven't gotten anything 

I'm still waiting for the update on Xbox. I'm getting so annoyed cause it's crashed my whole game to the point it's unplayable. Also wiped all of my previous save files and am unable to download anything 

Still waiting on an Xbox update. Can't place anything new from the gallery.

This whole thing stinks.  Are they even working on it?  No one says anything about it and it's really irritating too.  

I am a ps5 user and have not gotten the Update of 2.13 for sims 4. I've been waiting for a week or more now..at least since it came out on the 27th of may!. Same as other people I have uninstall and restarted but nothing!!! I don't play with mods just the testing true cheats!!! I'm sure we all would like our sims 4 update of 2.13 before nature calling events starts or before anything else happens with this fairy stuff!!!

Still no update and anything you download on the gallery won't work because we dont have the new update 😒 

I'm not sure I want the patch after reading all the bugs computer players are getting

I wonder if this is why I’m not able to use certain things on the gallery. I keep getting a message that says “Cannot place content because it was created with a newer version of the game. Restart your game to check for updates.” I thought I had messed something up. 

Yeah no update still. Is there an estimate on when it’ll be up? 

Yeah I don’t have the newest update either. They didn’t release it for us because apparently there were issues in testing or something. But I hope they fix all the stuff wrong with the game before the new pack comes out. Us console players never get any love 😒

Exactly we don’t get custom content or mods but it’s like we’re a after thought because we play on consoles instead of pc I don’t even want a pc so I would like help on when we are getting the new update 

I can’t get the newest update that came out on 5/27/2025 I’ve been checking every day for the update but still haven’t gotten it yet I need help I play on a PlayStation 4 with no mods or cc can someone please help me I just need help I need the new update so I can play I don’t like feeling like because I’m a console player I don’t matter this game is my escape from terminal cancer and I want to be able to play again but I can’t because of the constant lagging and freezing every three minutes and corrupt saves files some please help me 

I was just wondering if there is any news about the latest patch update for console players since something happened to were console players couldn’t get the update so I’m just checking to see if console players are getting the update soon or no please help I would like to update my game so that I can play 

Hi just asking when does the sims 4 on console get updated there no updates. 

EA said there was an issue for console update, same for playstation, it'll be released at a later date

The newest update on May 27th, 2025 isn't showing up on xbox series x so I can't update my game. I've deleted everything, restarted, and it still won't update.
