Re: Edge of roof going through the walls

Hi there @Mi_chiamo_Saul,

Your roof will clip into your room like this if that room is not fully enclosed or the game doesn't register it as a full room. This can happen if you're trying to build a loft, or if you're using a fence as an inside wall. You may want to try re-working that room to get the game to register it as an enclosed full room.

You can also try adjusting the eaves for this one side of the roof. Follow these steps for console to do that:

Xbox: Select the eaves with A and while it is selected, hold X and drag. A and X need to be pressed at the same time.
PlayStation: Select the eaves with X and while it is selected, hold square and drag. X and square need to be pressed at the same time.

  • It worked thanks!! But another problem occured after this. After I drew the rooms all over again, the entrances (columns with spandrels) were closed off. So, I added them all over again, that's when the roof started to go through the walls again like before.
