Re: [FAQ] Sims 4 Console Mods and CC

I’ve seen YouTube videos with new exciting mods and fun ones to try and I can’t help but being mad that console users have to stick to the same old gameplay and only be able to get new options when we pay for pricey expansion packs, game packs, kits and how come some games that EA has made can handle mods but others can’t especially a game like sims 4 that is used on different platforms and it seems really unfair to use console users that we are limited to what we can and can’t do if EA can allow PC and Mac to have mods so should consoles and it feed like this issue is overlooked as playing on console should not require having limited access to what we can and can not do.

Can someone finally confirm if the new CC/mods platform will be available for consoles?

There should be at least an update for consoles with a couple of CC then.

@Sthenastia I'm sure that if EA wanted they could implement some sort of system that would allow mods. I mean if Bethesda can do it then anyone can. For example just toss it into the Gallery. Add a new section where players can upload and download content, approved content of course because we all know EA wouldn't just allow anything. Unfortunately PlayStation users would have even more limitations since Sony doesn't allow external assets for console mods, but they would still have access to some decent things.

Then again, do we really want EA trying to implement mods into the console version? They can barely get things right as it is, so they would most likely just mess things up and break the game even more.
