Alright, so all of these fixes are simply not working. The only option I see is to either not play the game at all or start completely over. When my save files are things that are as old as the life of the game, this is unacceptable. This is just another reason why my dwindling, holding on by a thread faith in EA is going to get me completely away from the company. I've always had issues with Madden, NHL, and Sims 3, which made me very hesitant on buying Sims 4. But, I love the Sims franchise. I put the game down for quite a while and picked it back up last fall here and was hooked to the point where I started putting money into all these expansion packs, which was probably a financially bad idea at the time. Now, error 22. I have 3 save files, none of which will save when I load them up and try to save them now. I did have 4, I did lose a month's worth of gameplay and now its discouraging to a major level. I have downloaded content from the gallery the last few days here and all 3 of my saves I have left (one and autosave completely were deleted against my will yesterday) will not save now. All the fixes and methods to fixing are not remedying the issue. So, I'm here to throw my name into the hat of people on console (XBOX One X to be specific) who are having issues to the point that restarting gameplay of years might happen if I keep trying these so-called fixes, that are only ruining my save files further. This is a matter of a major patch, not unplugging the console or power cycling or whatever. All of my save files are hypothetically corrupted if I assume by all the research I have done concerning error code 22, so it is not what am I going to do to save this, but what is Maxis or EA or whoever going to do to solve this issue. This has been going on for months according to the message boards and all my google searches. If I lose my so-called corrupted save files, I am 100% out of all EA purchases and would like a refund for all the money I just literally put into 21 expansion packs over the last couple months. 21 EXPANSION PACKS, yep, EA nickel and dimed me good this time around with the micro, or rather, macro transactions. So, fix the game please and have real EA or Sims 4 tech people respond with real solutions, like a patch that saves peoples' save files and don't offer the gallery to console if it is only going to break our games until it is ready for console.
