Thanks for clarifying, @AckMaster1. I'm moving your thread to The Sims 4 forums then 😉

Have you already created your Sim? Could you place your Sim in a house and load the house without issues?

Once you are in the house, with your Sim, you should be able to press A while the cursor is in an object to see the different interactions available for that object. If you select one of the interactions and press A again, your Sim should do the interaction you selected.

You can find a list of the controls for the game here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Consoles/Controls-for-The-Sims-4-on-consoles/td-p/6446759

If that doesn't help, could you give us details of where in the game are you and what difficulties are you finding, so we can try to help?

I created one Sim, went to build mode and made a bathroom and a kitchen. Went to play mode, can't put Sim into kitchen.

    Hi @AckMaster1,

If you press A while cursor is selecting the fridge, do you get the option to ask your Sim to cook something? What happens when you select any option?

Make sure your Sim has a door to be able to access the kitchen. If you placed foundations, your Sim will need stairs as well.

Would it be possible for you to take a screenshot and share it with us? We might be able to see the problem more easily if we can see the house 🙂
