Regarding the raising and lowering of objects - this is not an option available on consoles, that's why you have been unable to find the controls to do it.

I can understand you are interested in this, what I can do is send your feedback about it to The Sims team 🙂

Hi @EA_Mai please do, we would love this control on console specially for those of us that love to build and decorate so please ask the team to add it

I really hope this option will be added in the next patch, i miss it more and more, as a builder its an important feature to have

Ah, that explains why when I went to put a toilet paper roll by the toilet it was 6 feet up the wall. 

Y'all should maybe fix that, wall decorations/ accents are kind of pointless now
