Sorry to hear you are having issues with the game.
Have you tried reinstalling all content? Both base game and all expansions. If that does not fix the issue, please let us know.

THANK YOU FOR REPLYING! I REALLY appreciate any help you can give.....except this ....LOL as it didnt help last time -like i said...the patch fixed it not my reinstalling every friggin thing again just to waste my time in having the same result....
No, this did not solve my problem and now I lost my save.....just like last time....which was the "fix" that was suggested and the final solution was a patch...so I was VERY hesitant to use this "fix" again ....and same thing happened as last time..i lose a save file that I have worked on forever...I had almost ALL aspirations finished...
I appreciate you replying but this didnt work nor did this "fix" work the last time I had a game breaking bug. So i have to ask...does this EVER fix issues??? LOL
I know you developers didn't plan to have this happen but oh my goodness...this is SO frustrating. ☹️ when you pay this much for something...it is really hard to want to give this company any more of my time. like especially since i have /most gamers have the WORST OPINION of EA and their want to take all my money for things that should have been in the base game this is neither here nor there...BUT . ☹️ Have been a simmer since Sims 1.....and the money I have spent over the years makes this feel like such a waste....
Is there anything else that I can try or is this an eventual PATCH thing???? Please advise!!
