Hey,
You can always save everything you want to keep in the Library, start a new save and then place everything back. It will take some time, but you will not loose character progress (skill, jobs, not sure for relationships).
This way you can earn trophies again with already created content.
Hope this helps!
So if I have two different households living next to each other but they each have their own save file the other should be fine?
I'm like almost 100% sure that it shouldn't be a problem. I've had different save files, one for which I play normally and another which I use cheats on. They both appear on the same world but since each has it's unique game save it shouldn't affect trophy progress on the save that isn't used for cheats. The only real problem that I find when using the game save that I use cheats for is that I have to manually remove the other save (non cheats) save and transfer whatever progress they made into the cheat save. I'm not entirely sure if I have to do this each time I feel I need to keep the household (non cheats) save updated or if since it's on a different save if switching between saves actually updates the progress for the household on the same world as the one that I use cheats for. Not sure if all of this makes sense but I hope I could be of some "help" lol.

@Candi_gurl92No. Those households exist in the same save file.
Every console has 10 save files. What you need to do is delete one of these files save data. Then on the game load screen select create new game & you will have a fresh new game to play that is not blocked out of trophies/achievements. The best thing you can do for yourself is rename your last old save file something like "Cheat file" & keep it as a base file for your old work & then use all 9 of the other file slots to save over going forward. I don't know how to rename on XB1 but on PS4 while on the Save Game popup hit the square button of whatever save you want to rename. Now back to business.
This new world will have NONE of your games previous content. So to get your households into this new save you will need to do some work. Upload the houses & buildings you've edited into your library via the gallery. Then do the same for all the households that you want to keep, save them to the gallery too. Then once you have everything in the gallery from your old save, the one you cheated in, go to your new fresh game save & load it up. The Gallery is an 11th hidden save that lives on your hard drive so once you open your fresh new game you can download the saved library content from your cheat save to your fresh new save. If you edit all your buildings & all your families this will take a lot of time. So be prepaired for a long haul or else just bring over the most important things that you want to keep.
Most importantly since you have already cheated why not go whole hog & do all the cheating you planned before doing this. Add traits, finish jobs for the clothes or benefits, build homes with objects you couldn't otherwise. Things like that. The caviate here is when you download a family from the gallery to a new game no one will know each other so to keep everyone a "family" when they are saved to your new game you need to be sure to set the sims relationships or else no one will be spouses, parents or siblings anymore. This you can fix in CAS before leaving. Once you leave you can't change any of this so be careful you dont get the siblings & spouses mixed up.
And lastly when I had to redownload a family in August I was pretty upset to find my gallery family arrived in my new save not just without family relationships but their friendships were also all whiped back to 0. No bestfriends, spouses who weren't in love. They were all complete strangers. So if you wanted to cheat that it won't work. But you can make people friends/in love again fairly easily or else just pretend Thanos did a snap wish for everyone to get amnesia. Either way you can now earn trophies/achievements again. And your old cheats for most things carry over. Ok, so ive tried doing what you said. But when i try to download my lot, it says i don't have enough funds to download it furnished. Which makes sense since the house is worth 36000 and every sim starts with 20000. Is there something im missing here? Id love to start a new save with the same sim, same house with all my stuff in it...
- I did this and cheats are still on?

How did you get them in the same world and have one a cheat and the other a non cheat? I did this once but have completely forgot how.
Hi! So i actually just this morning had this issue, so I found someone who helped so much! And here it is!
For a Household with a single Sim:
- Make a new Household.
- Download from Gallery, replace Household.
- Download from Gallery again, merge Household.
- Remove the first Sim from the original Download.
- Save/Reupload and play!
For a Household with many Sims:
- Make a new Household.
- Download from Gallery, replace Household.
- Remove all other Sims except the one you want to fix. (If you want to fix all of them, repeat steps 3-5.)
- Upload to Gallery.
- Edit Household, remove the copy and download/merge with the new version you just uploaded.
- Save/Reupload and play!
This is not mine so In no way am I taking credit for it!
