Re: Re: Sims 4 game won’t save ps4

@celestinierychu The issue above that I linked has been patched so it is no longer relevant. This thread is almost a year old.

The rest of the advice is the same:

It sounds like your save is full and can't store anymore data, or you have 10 saves already in your save folder and there is no more room for saves.

If the above is not your issue, you will need to delete old saves or stuff from your save to make room for more data in your save file.

If you have a huge lot and built a giant property, your save has possibly capped out. Can you save if you delete the property? Delete other saves? Check your console hard drive to make sure it isn't too full.

    @PoptartJuniper ---

I only have 3 saved games in Sims and I deleted one bec that's the only one I can -- didn't work.

System storage says 706G used out of 872G. 164G free space. I just deleted some stuff 200G.

Funny (?) thing is the issue seem to only happen on my saved game. My sister played the other day on her saved game
and she was able to save ☹️

@celestinierychu If your one save is very full, as in you have a ton of large houses, households, downloads from the online gallery, etc, your save is possibly too full of stuff.

Can you save if you make a completely new savegame with nothing except the default sims and items in it?

Are you receiving any error codes?

Does powering down your console completely, help?

@PoptartJuniper thanks for all your responses and suggestions.

So I deleted A LOT of saved houses and families -- and the issue still occured. i've restarted, etc. Still happening.

I deleted Sims. And downloaded it again. Now, all my packs are gone and "unowned". IDK what to do anymore.

@celestinierychu For your DLC, make sure you are on the account that purchased the DLC and that the console is set to primary for the purchasing account. If your console is offline, you will also need to connect to the internet and make sure the purchasing account is set to primary so you can use the DLC offline.

A help thread for common download and DLC issues is here: [Read First]FAQ - Sims 4 Console DLC Issues

Do you have the issue not saving in a new game?

Edit: A current bug with Cottage Living is causing a lot of households to spawn and will fill up your save. Can you check the other households tab (if you have Cottage Living and have visited the world) to see if there are a lot of extra households?
