There always seems to be some confusion over how to open the cheat console on a Mac because Mac users normally substitute the CMD key for the CTRL key in everyday Mac usage (CMD + C, CMD + V for copy...

So how do I fix this/find out what the program is that is interfering please

    By going through your installed apps and changing settings in any that may be interfering, usually 3rd party video or screenshot apps can be the culprit.

      Sorry to ask but I have no idea how to do that - is there somewhere that i can find a bit more of a descriptive way of doing this. I have photoshop, lightroom and premiere pro installed would these be the culprit?

        I don't know. Have you manually changed any key settings in those apps?
