Same Sim keeps dying when playing with another household
For the past few days, every time I play with my other households, I constantly get a notification that a Sim from my main legacy household has died and I need to make a decision on their inventory. The household I am playing with then gets the call that the Sim has died, so I have to exit the game without saving. I do use mods (basemental, pandasama, hairstyle cc, simsrealist) but there doesn't seem to be an issue (checked with BetterExceptions). This started around 3-4 days ago. Could someone please help me with this? NB: I've attached a photo of the notification that pops up every 5 minutes I play with another household.
Sims 4 Cheat Codes not Working
My full menu is not coming up as expected. The Control+Shift+C is testing cheats is true. I can get the motherlode and rosebud cheats, but that it all. I have tried everything that I know to do. I have enabled to allow for the mod scripts, and still the same thing. This is the latest mini-Mac. I only had it about a week. Before that I could not get the game to come up. I had to delete the EA app and the Sims 4 game. However, there is another issue is that I did not get to continue with the household that I had from a 2020 mini-Mac that I was using before I got the new one. I did save the game each time. Please advise me on what I need to do to enable the cheats. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! ~Lexi Sable
Game will not launch
Can anyone help me with my game please as i have been trying to fix this for a month now. My game will just not open and will come up with a message saying a certain document it corrupted, i would delete that document and then it will come up saying the same thing about another document and so on. I have cleared all my cache - did not work, repaired my game - did not work, uninstalled the game then reinstalled - did not work, started a whole fresh sims 4 folder - did not work, done 50/50 - did not work and now have deleted all my CC and redownloaded everything fresh again and IT WILL STILL NOT WORK! does anyone know what could be causing this
EA App Issues on Mac - Can't connect to Gallery or Update
Hey all, Wanted to start playing Sims 4 so downloaded the EA App for the first time on my Mac (running Sequoia 15.3). The app is housed within my Mac applications however the game is stored on my external hard drive. I'm not having issues opening the game, the base and all packs run normally however I can't connect to the gallery or get game updates in-app (Sims Delivery Express or whatever they are calling it now). I've unistalled and reinstalled, cleared the cache/cookies, ran app recovery and basically what feels like every other suggested solution I've found within the forum but nothing seems to work and I'm feeling very frustrated. Attached are some screenshots of the "error" messaging that I'm receiving.. any help or direction would be great appreciated!

This only started happening after the latest update When I load onto other lots outside of my household the screen glitches different colors and weird streaks. Game crashes and doesn't start back up on the latest save..
Of course my game has crashed before, but this is new. My game crashes like multiple times within like 5h. My game is usually pretty stable so I feel like I'm playing ts3 again, but only the bad parts... The thing that gets me in tears though is that when I restart the game, it doesn't start from the last time I saved?! So the majority of stuff I build AND SAVE disappears and it makes me wanna trow the whole game away.
Sims 4 Game Crashing
Every time I have opened my game for the last 3 weeks it is crashed after about a minute of game play. If I open it and don't interact with the game at all (do not scroll or play) it won't crash. As soon as I start to move around the game crashed. I have installed all the latest updates and restarted the app. The game loads fine until it gets to the point it crashes.
Game won't launch
I was told by EA Help to make a post here to see if anyone in the community might be able to help with this issue. I recently installed the game for the first time, but every time I try to open it, it will minimize the EA app, and then un-minimize it instead of launching the game. I have tried multiple methods to remedy this: Uninstalling and reinstalling Repairing the game Removing all mods and CC Allowing full disk access Made sure my firewall and antivirus applications were not blocking it in any way Tried to open it without wi-fi as I read that it was an odd solution (unfortunately didn't work for me) I'm really not sure why it's doing this, as this is a completely up to date mac, and only a couple of weeks old as well...
Sims 4 no longer works.
I have been having issues for the past week or two now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game a few times now. I have repaired the game. I even got to the point where I factory reset the entire game. Still, nothing works. Even on a clean game with 0 mods/cc it WILL NOT WORK. I was creating a brand new sim on a brand new clean game and the whole game froze up and said "not responding". And yes I have deleted the localthumbnailcache.package... more times than I can count. I have done everything I know/everything that has been suggested to me. Is this an EA problem at this point?
