When I type in control shift c on my Macbook it just screenshots and doesn’t bring up the cheat box
Just hitting C is what's supposed to give you a screenshot. I know sometimes when I go too fast I get a screenshot instead of the cheat box, because I've accidentally let go of one of the buttons a millisecond too early or something, but generally I get it on the second or third try. It's odd that it would just never work for you. Maybe try cleaning the keyboard? Or a game reset?
