I was simply about to play the game and then I got onto it and it said it had to update so I shut my laptop and waited then about an hour later I got onto the ea app and it signed me out so I go and I try like literally everything to fix it and it won't fix and ea also won't even let me start a live chat!

Just to confirm, are you referring to The Sims 4 packs not showing up in-game or in the EA App?
If so, please take a look at your Order History page to see if the missing packs appear there. If not, then you've likely signed in to a different EA account than the one you used to purchase the packs on, and you'll need to locate the correct account to regain access to that content.
