EA can't process my payment
I am trying to buy a couple of new packs because of the Summer Sale. Every time I try to check out, I get this same error message. "That didn't work, let's try again. If the problem persists you may want to use a different payment method or try again later." I am using debit cards. I have changed my payment method twice now, and I am still having problems. I also purchased something last week, with the same payment method, with no problems. I read somewhere that enabling international purchases on the card would work. It is already set to enable international purchases. I am in my billing region right now. Theoretically, there should be no problem. How can I fix this?EA app will not load my library or launch my games
Exactly what it says. Here is the info I had to keep copy-pasting on EA Help because that system absolutely does NOT work. For the past few days, when I try to load my games on the EA app, the library just won't load. The EA app is stuck on some sort of buffering screen, saying "Things are taking a little longer than usual to load up. Hang tight while we try to solve the problem." The worst thing is that the rest of the app is functioning perfectly fine. The store works perfectly fine, yet the app's most important function of actually launching the games isn't. I've tried to reach out before through the chat support, but that kept timing out even when I used copy-paste to fill out the information in less than 30 seconds after refreshing the page. I don't ever recall having a problem this severe with the Origin app, and if this ends up becoming a regular occurrence then I am definitely using third-party launchers from now on. Besides that, I cant open a new support ticket, whether through chat or through email. How am I supposed to play the EA games I paid for when the app doesn't work and the customer support works just as poorly? I sincerely hope I can find answers here.Solved6.6KViews0likes14CommentsEA App won't install update, can't launch game
Alright, trying here in the forum now because, at this point, I'm just frustrated. Rewind to a few weeks ago. I once again wanted to play the Sims 4, so I started the EA App and saw that a game update was required—that's not unusual after a break. Except this time, the game refused to install the update properly. First, the issue was that the update had supposedly been installed, but the EA app still said a game update was required. When I clicked the download button again, the app once more made me agree to the terms of play, went through all stages of the updating process and wrapped things up without ever changing the game's status to updated. Annoyed, I decided to go to bed and deal with this issue some other time. The next day, I gave things another try. This time, however, the update never even "faux-finished" and instead got stuck in a rapid "Preparing - Verifying - Finalizing" loop before I was eventually hit with an error message (see the attached screenshot 1). I went online and tried every possible solution to get things to work. Specifically, I restarted my computer, manually updated the EA app, cleared the EA app's cache and repaired my game. All without success. Having exhausted every suggestion the internet provided, I submitted a ticket. The first case was closed near instantaneously for some reason. The second time around, I never received a proper response either—only the occasional automated message informing me that my case was still under review and that things were taking longer than expected and asking if I still required help (see screenshot 2). At some point, I received an email telling me that the email address customer support used for communication was no longer being monitored (see screenshot 3). Great. Anyway, I was busy, then, with work and honestly didn't have the nerves to deal with all of this either. Today, I tried all of the above methods again in the vain hope that the EA App had since gotten an update addressing the bug. So, does anyone here have an idea what else I could possibly do at this point? I paid money for this game, and as it stands, it won't even launch without the update installed.17KViews1like5CommentsCannot launch mass effect legendary edition from steam using EA app.

Hi everyone, This thread has been created to gather data from players who report the absence of previously owned or recently bought Games/DLCs in their EA app Library starting from January/February 2024 (or before). If you are experiencing this issue, please ensure the following: Verify that you are logging into the EA app with the correct EA account - the one that contains your games. After manually checking some of your reports (which we don't typically do via forums), we've noticed several instances of players reporting this problem with empty EA accounts. As such, please respond to this thread using your primary EA account (the one you believe your games are registered to). Check your Order History - Try to locate your games, if purchased through our EA.com website or the EA app (formerly Origin), on your Order History page (access it here). If you sign into your EA account on the Order History page, apply filters for All Status and All Timeframes, and still see nothing, you may be using the incorrect EA account. Do or did you have EA Play? - If you had EA Play and claimed games that are now missing or returning a "You don't have access" error, ensure that your EA Play subscription is active. Note that this error can also occur in the EA app if you are attempting to launch an EA game via Steam or Epic while logged into the EA app with the incorrect account (one not linked to your Steam or Epic persona). If you've checked all of the above and still can't see your EA games in the EA app, consider performing an EA app Recovery (clear cache) to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, please reply to this thread with the following information: Your EA ID/Username, The names of the missing games (please just name a handful), The date when this issue first started, Your current EA app version (find out here), Your EA app Error Reporter ID (provide it in this thread). Thank you for your cooperation.17KViews2likes270CommentsEA app won’t work on my mac and won’t uninstall.

Product: The EA app Platform:PC Error Report ID (learn how to create an Error Report ID in the sticky post) Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Launch Game When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 05/12/22 19:27 Summarize your bug Can't launch EA store-bought game with any kind of steam compatibility. This means, I can't use features such as controller remap, steam overlay, steam big picture and such. I think it's very important that you fix these things, many people are currently avoiding your services because of this kind of issue. As for what I think is causing the problem, it's obviously that when opening an executable, the action is ''caught'' by the ea app drm, which verifies that you're logged in and all that usual stuff, kills the process then relaunches it. This causes steam to think the app was closed and in turn goes back to a no-game state. So controller remaps, ease of use through big picture mode, don't hook to the game at all. In my case it practically means I can't play the game, because Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 1 won't work with an Xbox One controller via bluetooth (yet another issue, but it would be fine if steam worked). With Steam becoming bigger and bigger - not just with Steam Deck, but also with the updates to Steam Big Picture, which allow a very comfortable, console-like experience - I strongly believe integration is essential if you want your app to be respected and future-proof. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Add any EA App game in Steam as ''non-steam game'', then try to launch through big picture mode (or just through the list then try to trigger the overlay with alt+tab), this will trigger the ea app to open, then the game - but steam overlay will not work. What happens when the bug occurs? The game launches, but steam features are completely absent. What do you expect to see? ''Integration'' with steam. Be able to launch an EA App game bought through EA Store, normally, with steam features enabled such as overlay, remaps. I provided all information already ;-;557Views0likes2CommentsOld games not available
