EA app doesn't install in choosen directory
If i chosse another directory then the default one the EA Launcher is installed to the default directory in C:\program files If i cut and copy the files into my choosen directory G:\EA the launcher is giving an error-message. Which files and or registry-entrys do i have to change that the ea-launcher is working within my choosen direcory? I don´t wan´t to install any app on C:\ I have 11TB free space on G:\ (it´s an 18TB WD red). Hello I have a problem with Dragon Age Inquisition, i have tryed clean boot, fullscreen optymalization, lunching the game as administrator and compatybility with win8/7/vista, fixing files in origin/ea desktop app, disabling my antivirus and reinstalling directx and vc redist. I'm not getting any error or something when i press Play my origin just minimalizes and after few seconds pops up back and game don't want to lunch, no black screen or anything too. Hi, Battlefield V in my collection is greyed out and cannot be launched with the error message: An incompatible version of this game is installed on your device. Uninstall the Steam version to launch the game. Background: I played BFV via EA Play membership on Steam. Cancelled it and permanently activated the game in the EA App via a code. I have already changed the game directory and reinstalled BFV, but the message remains, although there is no Battlefield V on my PC. There was a recent update for my game and it was stuck in the updating process, it didn't even begin to load to 1% for like twenty minutes. I have not been able to open the EA App on my MacBook for three days now. I have tried everything I can find online endless times but nothing is working. Normally when I had an issue launching EA it was always because I had Safari open. When I closed it, EA launched. But Ive closed all Apps I could possibly have open and it's still not working. I also tried going through Finder > Applications > show package contents > EA Launcher but it did not work. When I try it, the EA App pops up on my Dock, not on my screen, and the Dot under it that shows an app is open pops up, but it disappears after about a second. I have tried it endless times and it does it every time. Ive tried opening the Sims 4 App the same way, but its not opening either. I also tried deleting the EA App and reinstalling it, but it won't even let me delete it. I tried dropping it in the Bin from the Dock and the Launchpad but it just does nothing. When I try dropping it in the Bin from Applications in the Finder, I get a Notification that I can't uninstall the App because it is currently open. Every time I get the Notification I check if it's really open and it isn't. I also tried just redownloading the app over the EA Site and opening it in Finder, but it does nothing.Sims 4 packs aren't loading in game
Hey, I've been having issues with my packs loading in game. On the EA app it says we own the packs, and even on the Sims 4 Home Screen, but in the actual game itself the packs won't load. Since EA says I own the packs I couldn't even repurchase if I wanted to. The only pack showing up is the Christmas kit, but the packs we own include: Cottage Living, Eco Lifestyle, Island Living, Cats & Dogs, Get to Work, Tiny Living, Moschino, My First Pet, Laundry Day, Romantic Garden, and Spooky. My sister had installed some Costume Content on the game, which I assumed was the source of the problem. However, after I deleted the CC, the packs still weren't showing up on the game and I still don't know how to fix it. We paid for these packs and I'd really hate for them to be gone forever with no way to get them back.
