EA App Requests Admin Permissions Every Time I Launch The App
Like the title says, every time I launch the EA app, it requests admin controls to make changes to my computer. This is not okay. The background telemetry EA runs while the app is open and while my game is in session, overloads my computer system, driving up the heat and forcing an full system crash. This is not okay, and this should not be happening. I've run a clean game with no mods or cc, and it does the same thing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a clean version of the app three times now, still crashes. This is not okay. I'm running my game/the EA app on a Macbook pro. When I manually quit my game, and quit the EA app, it relaunches itself without my persmission until it finally times out and gets flagged for not responding. This is after I've manually force quit the app. This is not okay.[NEW Oct. 2024] - EA app and Error Code EC:204
Tend to play Sims 4 offline. Played earlier in the day offline with no issue. Later on, I played online for a few minutes (mostly to browse the gallery) and exited the game to switch to offline. However, when clicking the game to launch once going offline, the EA App states that my game license expired with an Error Code 204. I switch to online and launch the game with no problem. I play on laptop so playing offline helps reduce background activity and stress on the system. Not sure why my "game license" expired, I have all the receipts from purchase. Both Sims 4 and EA App are updated to latest versions. Error Report ID - f738a8c8-cb64-4b2b-b5bf-3262d3a7870aSolved12KViews19likes115CommentsSims 4 packs aren't loading in game
Hey, I've been having issues with my packs loading in game. On the EA app it says we own the packs, and even on the Sims 4 Home Screen, but in the actual game itself the packs won't load. Since EA says I own the packs I couldn't even repurchase if I wanted to. The only pack showing up is the Christmas kit, but the packs we own include: Cottage Living, Eco Lifestyle, Island Living, Cats & Dogs, Get to Work, Tiny Living, Moschino, My First Pet, Laundry Day, Romantic Garden, and Spooky. My sister had installed some Costume Content on the game, which I assumed was the source of the problem. However, after I deleted the CC, the packs still weren't showing up on the game and I still don't know how to fix it. We paid for these packs and I'd really hate for them to be gone forever with no way to get them back. Please help.Solved8.2KViews0likes220CommentsBattlefield 1 Steam Won't Launch x EA app
Hey. I bought BF1 through Steam recently as it was on sale. I have downloaded the game, but it won't launch. When I try to open it on steam, it does nothing. When I try to open it through the game's location on my PC, it says "You don't have access. This title may have been downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game. Log in to a different account or restart the app to try again." I have tried redownloading the game, tried to launch the game MULTIPLE TIMES, looked it up a million times, and it has just wasted so much of my time. If I don't find a solution here, I am just going to request a refund, I can't deal with this nonsense anymore.Solved29KViews8likes177Comments"You're running low on disk space"
I just tried to install the new update and I keep getting the You're running low on disk space message. I had 13GB of storage free, is there not a better way for EA to run these updates? I spent the last hour deleting everything from my laptop and it is still not nearly enough to install the update. It gets to 80% and then stops. The whole game is already taking up 75GB of space on my laptop, and it needs 17GB more for the update? I don't understand. Is there any solution for this? Please help me. 🙏🏼 PS I've been having this issue for almost every update in the last year and honestly it's getting tiring. Is there someplace I could send a complaint for it to actually mean anything? I see others have been having this issue too and nothing seems to help.64Views0likes2CommentsBattlefield 5 Can't Launch Through Steam
I recently bought BFV during the black Friday sale on steam. I downloaded the game, and logged in to my origin account that I have had for a long time. The game will not even start, I get the error "link2ea://Launchgame/1238810?platform=steam&theme=bfv", with the description "application not found". Steam then produces the error: "Failed to start process for Battlefield V: "The operation was cancelled by the user, (0x4C7)". I have tried changing permissions, firewall settings, repairing the game, reinstalling both EA and and BFV, deleting EA and having steam manually reinstall it. I have literally no clue what to do to fix this error, I can't even play the game. I am pretty convinced that this is an issue getting the EA game service recognize the fact that BFV is actually in my library or something, despite the fact that it shows up in my collection.4.3KViews1like6CommentsYour game failed to launch An error on our end caused your launch to fail
I could play Fifa 23 on origin, never on EA app. Now today origin forced me to install EA app. There is just no way I can play fifa, I've tried everything I could find on the internet and at this point I have the feeling I'm the only one who can't launch Fifa 23. I'm getting pretty frustrated, I paid way too much anyway on this game and now I can't even play it?!?!?Solved12KViews3likes20CommentsEA App says I dont have Access to Steam Game
Hi I bought the Battlefield Bundle on steam last night because it was on sale. I installed BF4, and when I went to launch it - it downloaded and opened the EA App and said I do not have access although it is downloaded (See Screenshot). My EA and Steam accounts are already linked, as I use to pay for the monthly EA Play service, and used to play BF through that. I think that's why I'm having this issue. This is a new PC, so the Origin app has never been installed prior to this issue. I did install it briefly to see if I could launch it through that, but no success there. I really need help with this, I can't play the games I just bought ☹️ I unlinked my EA account from steam, and re-linked it, but that didn't work either. I would create and New EA account and try that, but there is a friggin long cool-down time when it comes to linking accounts.1.6KViews1like5Comments
