Moved your thread to the Mac tech forum. Could you please copy/paste here the contents of the most recent lastCrash file in that Sims 4 folder. If you sort by list and date modified in Finder it will be easier to find the most recent.
Where is your base game installed? The exact file path please but you can replace your Mac user account name. Is there also a Sims 4 Packs folder in the same location?
A game repair doesn't remove any user data files in the Sims 4 folder.
@Bluebellflora Hi, I have attached the contents of my most recent lastCrash file (as when I try to copy / paste it here it keeps being marked as spam) although it seems to be from March.
I'm not sure if this is of any use to you, but I noticed quite a few "lastExceptions" files from the past week which is the time I noticed my base game was missing, I'm not sure if these have any relation but thought I'd let you know in case it could help!
as for where my base game is downloaded, where would I find that? I downloaded the sims on origin but am not sure where to find the exact file path.
