Black vertical and horizontal bars on my Sims 4

Hello, recently (after adding different accounts to my mac ( OS X, version 10.9.5) ) my sims 4 loads and plays with horizontal and vertical black lines across the screen that prohibit me from playing...

Wow, that looks horrible! Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162

Can you go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and trash the Options.ini file then load your game and see if it works. You could also try toggling between full screen and windowed mode by holding CTRL, CMD and F.
