Can I stop the sims 4 from uploading to my 'Documents' folder?

Welcome to Answers HQ!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to move your saves and Mods folders to another location. The Sims 4 user files need to stay in your Documents folder so the game can find them when you open it.

Have you considered using the flash drive to store other content that you might not use that often and none of your programs need to run properly? 🙂

@EA_Maiso why is it other people using a Mac and an external hard drive isn't having this problem. Everything for sims is on my hard drive the moment I open the game it downloads a brand new ea folder in my documents
