can't access online features like the gallery in sims 4 on Mac

hi im 18. I have sims 4 running with origin on a Mac. for some reason, I can't access the online features in the game. when I go to the "other" tab where the "go online" button should be, it just sho...

  and has it anything to do with that I’m playing on origin

    Everybody with a legal copy of the game has the game installed through Origin.
