Can't get the game to launch Sims 3

I am trying to play the Sims 3 game. I have a Mac OSX 10.10.5. Every time I try to launch the game it says "Cannot start the process when the game is running. Please quit the game and try again."  H...

Unfortunately not ☹️ There is no magic fix as the problem is compatibility between your Mac and the game although the link I gave you is the closest possibility. Trying with just the base game may work as adding in certain EPs, possibly Late Night and Ambitions, cause the game to not work at all.
