CAS lag after 6/18 Update

I updated my game this afternoon with the most recent patch and suddenly my game is laggy. I have all packs installed. I’ve updated my memory to 16gb and have a solid state drive. I’ve repaired my game. Removed my mods folder. I’ve also removed my sims 4 folder and started and new folder. My settings as always are set to high with edging set to medium. I did not have this issue until today’s patch. I noticed immediately something was wrong when I went into CAS. I don’t understand how a patch can cause this much of a difference in my game play. Any suggestions?

I’m not sure if it’s updated after today’s patch. I ended up switching over to Windows. I would ( @Bluebellflora  correct me if I’m wrong) go in update your game and clear out any cache files. Then open and see if you notice a difference.

I don't think it is a specific issue that can be fixed, more a mixture of things such as low specs, lots of installed packs, larges save files, CC, stuff like that ☹️

@Bluebellflora They said they were able to see the issue on their side, it’s just weird that it works perfectly fine with all the settings on high, no issues before the update and all of a sudden there’s lag issues.

I never experienced game lag till ECO. I run the game on a 15 inch macbook pro Retina. I did all the usual repairs and fixes - same result: game lag. I did however discover that when I play offline, the game runs better?! I have no mods no CC.
