For some reason I keep getting this when I try to change the gender settings after the new update:

And I've tried disabling mods but that did nothing.

With the gender mod that came out yesterday, I had to rename the original EA\Sims 4 directory under My Documents, then I did a Repair from the Origin client. I then restarted Sims 4 to recreate a new Sims 4 directory under My Docs\EA..
I brought back the saves and tray items, but have slowly been bringing back the mods. The ones that change the interface in CAS(my case was the (More_CAS_Columns_(4_Columns)) and mods that allow nude tattoo/nude cas mods, also conflict with the new EA agenda.
On day 2 now of the re-install. Still playing with mods.
sorry, i'm not real sure about the setup of EA on the Mac. But I would think it would do the same. Seems to be the same issues.
