Thanks, can you also provide the other info asked for please in the questions:
- Are you attempting to play the normal version of the game or the Legacy Edition?
- Are you running any antivirus?
- Have you tried to repair the game in Origin? Right click on the game in My Games and select Repair Game.
- Do you use CC/Mods? If so, have you tried removing them and seeing if that fixes your problem?- 6 years ago

Legacy Edition is not an upgrade, it is a legacy version of the game for older Macs - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/The-Sims-4-Legacy-Edition-thread/td-p/8420037 You do not need it.
Could you play in windowed mode, small enough so you can see the desktop behind and reproduce the issue? When the glitchy stuff happens, is this across the whole Mac screen or just the game window?
