@ryansjas
Thanks 🙂
Legacy Edition is not an upgrade, it is a legacy version of the game for older Macs - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/The-Sims-4-Legacy-Edition-thread/td-p/8420037 You do not need it.
Could you play in windowed mode, small enough so you can see the desktop behind and reproduce the issue? When the glitchy stuff happens, is this across the whole Mac screen or just the game window?
Thanks 🙂

So far, it's only happening in Fullscreen mode, but it's still very slow and delayed when I try to drag/resize features. Everything else runs at a pretty normal speed, so as far as I can tell, that means my Mac can handle it, but for whatever reason, it doesn't like me trying to click and drag (rotating the Sim, adjusting features, etc.), and I'm worried that will carry over to the in-game camera. :/

Have you tested it with the in-game camera?
Your Mac graphics aren't particularly powerful but you should be able to use CAS with minimal lag.
Do you think it's this issue? https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/PARTIAL-FIX-Sims-4-CAS-cursor-glitch/m-p/6027932#M7813- 6 years ago
Huh, it's actually suddenly working haha! There was an update today so I guess that must've fixed it! Thanks so much for your help though 🙂
