Corrupted mod file(s)?

I can't figure out how to go to my original post, but I had issues with my game not opening (origin for mac) and I figured out it's one or more of the mod files. I only have custom content mods, not mods that affect game play. I was able to open and play the game with only a few CC files in the mods folder, but after adding the rest, it doesn't open. How can I find out which file(s) is causing the issue?

  • The icon appears on my hot bar, then goes away. I've tried updating both origin and the game, repairing, I installed legacy edition, and reinstalled twice. Nothing has worked.It has been at least a month of it not working and I was hoping there would be a new update that would fix it, but I guess it's just my Mac.

    @magdaIena

    I merged your post into a macOS Sierra thread and tagged you 🙂

    Now I've split it again as you've provided more information - thank you!

    To test the CC/Mods, move out your Mods folder to the desktop and trash the localthumbcache.package file. Start the game to check it will load then quit without saving. Move your CC back in in batches, loading the game after each batch to see if it still works. When it stops working you know there is dodgy CC in that last batch. Move out that batch and test each piece one by one until your game stops working again. It's laborious but the only way to check all your CC.
