@aftksims
Was the agent you spoke to not aware of the ongoing thread here which you and others have been posting in? Do you think they had no idea and just asked you to post? https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/Problems-on-2019-iMac-with-AMD-Vega-GPU/m-p/9498507#M37920
Creating a new thread just distracts from the ongoing one linked above and dilutes the all important Me Too count which helps QA see how many are affected by the issue. That is why we merge posts with the same issue together, to get more attention and for players to help other players. It also doesn't clog up the forum with multiple threads on the same issue, therefore losing visibility for different issues users are posting.
You are not the only one affected by the Vega problem, all Mac users with AMD Vega GPUs are as also stated in these threads unfortunately:

The agent is aware of the threads, he specifically told me to create a new one re: October update and continued issues.
Sorry if I’ve caused any issues but that’s what the agent advised me to do.

No worries and certainly no need to apologise 🙂
The issues with the 16" MacBook Pros is a great example of merging posts on the same issue together and having one consolidated thread. Someone recently came up with a workaround for the problems on these specific model Macs and all those who had posted in the same thread and received notifications saw the workaround and managed to get back into their game 🙂 If you're interested it's here - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/WORKAROUND-Problems-playing-Sims-4-on-the-16-quot-MacBook-Pro/td-p/8750583- 5 years ago
Thanks - unfortunately none of those fixes seem to be options for iMacs from what I have read.

No because they do not have Vega GPUs, they have their own set of specific issues. Completely separate and unrelated.
