This issue now seems to be fixed in the 1.68.154.1220 November 2020 patch.

No worries and certainly no need to apologise 🙂

The issues with the 16" MacBook Pros is a great example of merging posts on the same issue together and having one consolidated thread. Thanks - unfortunately none of those fixes seem to be options for iMacs from what I have read.

No because they do not have Vega GPUs, they have their own set of specific issues. Completely separate and unrelated.

    Do you have any EA insider information for us? Even now with toggling my graphics settings lower it's freezing within 10 minutes of game launch. I was at least getting some play time up until today. This has been going on for over a month and I'm amazed that there's been absolutely no updates or communication from EA re: this issue.
    Sorry but I am incredibly frustrated at this point given all of the investment into this game and into a computer with more than capable specs of playing it.
