Do I delete the (V1) of my game to free up storage?

Hi everyone, 

Hope you had a good day! 

I've been playing sims 4 for years on my Mac.. I'm trying to free storage on my Mac for the recent update and I noticed I have two versions on my mac and I'm wondering if I could delete the (V1) since I havent used it since Nov 11 2024. (Please see screenshots) I really don't want to lose all my saves and lots... Thank you in advance 🙂
