Duplicate folder

I made a duplicate of my EA folder before the island living update to be safe in case any thing happened. Now having to folders of the sims 4 is taking up too much storage on my computer. How do I kn...

    Don't merge them. Copy the one you don't want to an external drive or online storage, just in case you need to access it later, then delete it from your Mac.

Where is the duplicate folder? The game will be loading the one in Documents > Electronic Arts

@Bluebellflora They are both in documents. One is called "The Sims 4" and the other is "Electronic Arts". The folder "The Sims 4" has more recent items in it.
