Errors with Screen Resolution and Saves

Hey I need help. I just downloaded Sims from the official ea website on my Mac. I have noticed a couple things, first my full screen resolution won't change and second my saves are not working. What'...

    Thank, that's all really helpful info.

    Have you tried changing the display settings of the monitor in System Settings? Can you try a different monitor, maybe a TV? You're not the first to report resolution issues with some external displays.

What's going on is you need to probably change some stuff on your Mac to fix the issues and I need you to be clear on your points.

"first my full screen resolution won't change" - please explain what happens after you click full screen in the game options. Which exact model Mac are you using and are you using an external display?

"my saves are not working" - how are they not working? Are they not loading? Are they corrupted? When you try and load a save does something unexpected happen?

    After clicking full screen my screen resolution size becomes too big for my display. Then I go to change it and there are no sizes available. I then changed to the window screen, then I see full resolution size options were unblocked, I tried to click one. Then my screen says "unable to save display mode options. changes will be reverted to previous settings." I am on a Mac mini 2 and I am using an external Dell E2220H Monitor.

    And I realized there is not an issue with my saves.
