[FIXED] Upgraded to macOS Ventura - can only Force Quit the game

I have upgraded to Ventura and I can only exit the Sims 4 via Force Quitting. I saw the other thread about disabling origin in game, but it has still not fixed my issue. Is there any other possible f...

Hello.

It turns out there was indeed a fix for this issue in todays' patch (Mac version 1.95.207.1230), but we accidentally failed to mention it in the patch notes.

I know this is a bit late but I’m still having the issue now. It’s frustrating since I love playing Sims 4 on the laptop that I enjoy using. 😒

@raysims3It is the same with me, it is annoying having to back up all The Sims 4 files before playing every time in case force quitting corrupts them. But that is our only work around at the moment. I really hope they fix it for us, it is Christmas after all. 🤞

Updated to try and fix an origin issue, it wasn't even the problem and now i've got a whole new issue!! I'm trying to roll back but my HD won't show up in recovery so...y'know. Hope they fix this soon.
